Leon, visibly shaken, accepted the nail gun from Adries. "D..Danke..." he stammered as he hefted the nail gun. It would be a suitable weapon.

((Okay, seriously? A sentient zombie?))

((....okay what the fuck are you doing kijo? You're going to get ignored or kicked by this.))

"You are welcome Medic," Adries replied after a few moments to calm herself down, "There are only a few left. Thank goodness we've gotten rid of them. This will give us time to...wait. Christ it's already 6! We're going to need to get this done quickly if we're going to be safe for the night."

Leon chuckled at Adries' Team Fortress joke, then suddenly turned serious. "How many are left?"

"Uhm....one, two, three...Three left over," Adries replied, waiting until one came over before dealing with it, "And now two." She took a deep breathe looked at her watch again. 6:12 PM, enough time to get a nice barricade set up before night.

Leon saw another zombie and approached it slowly. The creature noticed him, and began to shamble towards him. Leon took aim with his nailgun, and fired four shots. Two hit the zombie's head, but it was still moving. Leon took one more shot, and the zombie fell over, dead. "Make that one..."

"Great aim.The last zombie Chuck can deal with," Adries said, looking over at the zombie heading towards him, "Leon, help me start moving boards and wood to the entrance so we can build up a barricade." With that she started walking up the stairs of the school entrance and to room B4.

"Right behind you." Leon sprinted up the stairs behind Adries.

Lording ran downstairs when he saw a zombie holding Henry's arm. "Henry, look out!" he screamed, running towards it with a pair of scissors. He then proceeded to stab it 7 times in the head. "That should've killed it... You owe me one Henry."

Adries walked into B4 and started picking up some wood and walking it over to the Main Entrance. She noticed Mr. Lording and asked, "Hey, are there any secret entrances that we should know of?"

Henry looks at Lordring "Meh he was gay anyway."
Henry looks down and on the zombie he sees a PDA full of information on how they will attack the school
"Oh,crap!" and he runs towards Adries
"ADRIES LOOK!"

"There's a small entrance at the back of the theatre." Mr. Lording started. "It's where we'd all go and smoke sometimes before a show." He chuckled a little. "This was, of course, back when I was a student."

Henry sees Leon

"Hey Leon check out this PDA."

((kijo we're going to ignore you from now on.))

"Alright, do you think you can go and board it up? Maybe choose a few students to help," Adries replied, putting down the boards and going to get more.

"Let me check this out..." Lording said, grabbing the PDA away from Henry. "Pft... this was this poor guy's PDA. Look, he had a business meeting at four, and needed to go out for dinner with his wife. For a second I thought you were trying to say that the zombies were organizing." He gently whacks Henry over the head. "These are mindless creatures, not the US Marines. We can't predict how they'll attack."

"The theater you say? I'll help board that up"

"Okay," responded Lording. "Leon, you come with me. Charles, you help Adries with the main entrance. Henry, sit down and shut up. We'll meet up later, then a couple of us can go into town."

Adries nodded as she passed Leon to get more things. After a few trips she felt she had enough wood and boards to make a good barrier. She told everyone to get inside so that she can close the doors. She then went to go get a flag stand to put inbetween the door handles.

"Hey Adries! Can I help you with that?"

Henry sees Leon

"Hey Leon check out this PDA."

Your gonna have to slow down and contribute to the story kijo, or someones gonna get rid of your character, and i wont do anything about it.

"Uh, sure. Well, now that the doors are closed and we have that flag stand pole we should be pretty safe," Adries replied, getting a hammer and a board, "And now, we start nailing things down." With that, she started hitting in some nails.

Leon grabbed a board and a hammer as well. "Carpentry isn't my thing, but I think I can do this..." He started to hammer some nails.

Charles helps the group board up the doors and windows

"Guys I hate to be a complainer, but this won't hold off the zombies. They'll keep wacking at this untill it eventually gives way and then they can come pouring in. Idealy, if we could get some brick and mortar then we could ensurew these openings are secure."

Adries looked at Leon banging away at the nails, "Less force. Make a nice, few initial bangs to get the nail in then you can start hitting it a bit more forceful. Too bad there aren't any plugs around here or else we could just screw things in. I think we should move onto the lower level windows once we're done with this. Emergency exits too."

"The problem is, Chuck, that we have none. And even then it'd make more sense to make a small area where we can grow food and block that off with construction materials. I guess we could always go into town. It just wouldn't be safe."

"Yea thats true, securing an area where we can grow food is important, but we need to ensure that our main dweling is secure. Come to think of it, if we break down all the desks in this school, we can scavange the metal bars from the desks and weld them together and bar the doors and windows, that would make them a hell of a lot more secure."

"Um...thanks" Leon took Adries' advice and started hammering softly at first. "You know what, it does work better like this..."

At the theatre, Lording was busy hammering when he noticed that everyone had left him... "Jeez... this sucks." Unfazed, he decided to just continue hammering until it was finished.

Adries nodded at both Leon and Charles. She took a deep breath and thought. After a minute of silence she replied back to Charles, "If we can get the students to do that with the desks than it should be done relatively quickly. It won't get done tonight though. I say we tell them of the plan before we turn everything off. We'll get them to work tomorrow on it. We also need to tell them no lights or loud noises when it's dark...or even when it daylight for that matter."

"Agreed, we should have several students start on the desk breaking now and have them instuct the others on how it is done. As for noise disipline, I don't think that will be a problem everyone is so freaked out that their afraid the smallest wisper will bring death."

"For right now, it's pretty good that everyone's scared silent. It won't attract zombies, and it'll give us time to think and plan."

"Yeah, good idea about getting people to work on it now. Once we're done here we'll go get the calmer students to start. Hell, maybe even I will help them. Not like there is much to do. Nothing at all. Nothing....at all," Adries said, growing quiet after realizing what she said.

'Nothing. What is important now? Survival? For how long? Best not to think about it.'

After two long hard hours, James Lording finished making a barricade on the theatre entrance. "Well... I guess its time." He took the stairs to the roof and looked down to see a horde of zombies. "I can do this." He then proceeded to climb down the fire escape.

(I'm not going to post all of Lording's outside adventures, so, in about thirty minutes, I'll make a post describing his return.)

Charles followed Lording outside to help him scavange supplies.

Adries sighed, looking over the work that was the main entrance barricade. "I think this is sufficient," she says triumphantly, a grin spread across her face. "We should head back up to the Chemistry class now, tell everyone about the plans. All that good stuff."
