Everquest 2: EQ2 Player Gives Millions Away to Family and Friends
By way of The Sun:
After winning £8.3 million (US $16.7 million) in lottery winnings last month, 43 year old Everquest II player Jenny "Ferr" Southall held a lavish party recently, in which she gave away a quarter of her winnings to dozens of surprised and shocked family and friends - including her 21 year old boyfriend, Simon "TeeJay" Lynch, whom she met on the Darathar server of Everquest II.
She said: "I didn't get out much and didn't have many friends. The game was a way of meeting people - and now I've met Simon.
"I chose to be a warlock because I wanted the power to go round and kill things.
"I call myself his Sex Slave on the game but it's all pure fantasy - a form of escapism."
